History 
The electronic information industry is my country’s largest industry, and many young engineers are required to join the sustainable development of the industry every year. However, according to the statistics of the Economic Development Council, the supply of well-trained engineers is still insufficient, especially the demand for software engineers is even more urgent. In view of this, the school established the Institute of Information Engineering in August 1990, recruiting 15 new graduate students, and hired Professor Li Xueyang, the former head of the Department of Information Engineering, National Taiwan University, as the first director. "Biotechnology system integration talents" is the educational goal. After two years of detailed planning, we actively recruited excellent teachers, and invested nearly 20 million in the purchase of research equipment to build various research laboratories and establish a good research environment. Teaching purpose
